Your Stay

We do everything we can to make sure your friend's stay is as comfortable, happy and stress-free as possible. Here are a few notes on us, and where to go from here.

How Booking Works

Understandably, you may want to check us out before you commit to staying. We would love you to visit beforehand for a coffee or a dog-walk if you would like to! Simply email or call to arrange this. We can also answer any questions or concerns you might have.

If you would like to book your stay, let us know and we can confirm availability. We do ask for a small deposit to reserve your stay.

Who We Are

I am Christine and I own The Dog Cottage. I personally look after each and every four-legged guest that comes to stay. I have owned my own dogs for over thirty years and I have extensive experience in the animal world, having been a dressage instructor for the majority of my career.

I genuinely love dogs of all shapes and sizes and my days are organised around their needs and routines.

Things To Arrange

When you book your stay, I will send you a questionnaire which covers everything I need to know to make your dog's visit as seamless as possible. I will also provide a list of items you may wish to bring such as food, toys, beds, leads, harnesses, medical and vet details, medication, and more.

When you bring your dog to stay, feel free to stay for a while before leaving if you would rather. I always have a working kettle and some biscuits!
